Jack Rye

This is Jack Rye from the fan comic skit from before. As I mentioned before his character was inspired by Steve Irwin in the sense that he approaches and handles the dangers of the wild and at the same time respects it and cares for it.

Weight: 172 lbs.
Gender: Male

Jack Rye was trained by his father in understand the ways of the wild and went off adventuring with his dad ever since he was little. He grew to love nature and the exotic beauties that can come from the dangerous places of the great outdoors.
His closest friend when he was younger was a young naga that kept wondering around his family’s home. They both played together, even though the naga probably kept chewing on his head as if trying to eat little Jack. The two friends eventually had to part after Jack’s father had been reported eaten by a monster. Jack’s mom, Mrs. Rye, dragged jack away and they traveled around the world.
As Jack grew up, he became more and more like his dad, encountering dangers of the world’s wildlife and taking care of the all the creatures. Although when cash ran low he would take up hunting jobs, so long as they were for a good cause (in his mind).

On an artist’s note, I obviously focused on the Australian look, and gave him side packs and things up the wa-zoo, to carry all his gadgets and equipment. He’s actually carrying a lot more than it looks. I wanted a very cartoony anime look.
